The Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge is a RAMSAR site considered one of the richest place in the continent for the observation of birds. Beside an abundance of birds, Caño Negro is also refuge for many other animals like: sloths, three types of monkeys, caimans, lizards, bats, and native flora of the wet land.
Join us as we take a relaxing boat ride down Rio Frio river that runs through the Cano Negro wildlife refuge.
There you will see many different types of native plants and animals and learn all about them from our professional guides. This tour also includes refreshments and a delicious lunch to be had at our onsite restaurant by the river. If you want a nice relaxing day than this tour is for you.
On the way to Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge you will have the opportunity to learn about agriculture plantations that Costa Rica raise such as yuca, papaya, pineapple, sugar cane and orange.
Also we stop at the IGUANAS SANCTUARY.
